Next Wednesday (23rd December): Grindleford Christmas Meal
It's the time of year again where Woodseats Explorer Unit packs out Grindleford Cafe; ordering masses of pints of tea and chip butties. Unit members are to make there own way down there, be it by foot, bike, bus, car or train. Its not an event to be missed, and information about the day will be given out on the next few Thursday Nights!

This Saturday, around the whole of South Yorkshire the annually held Winter Run-Around is taking place.Explorer teams consisting of 4 to 8 members will be racing each other aiming to complete the most activity bases that will be situated at most Explorer HQs across South Yorkshire.
FOR WVU TEAMS TAKING PART:
- Teams need to meet at the Unit for 8am.
- If you haven't paid your individual entry fee, you need to make sure you bring £6.50 on the day to cover your pass fee.
- The event will finish at Hesley Wood Scout Camp at 1600 (4pm) where ALL teams need to report to the site by 1600 at the latest to finish.
